Study Abroad Fair Response
The Study Abroad Fair was very informative. There were a LOT of options when it comes to where you can go and what programs there are. It’s given me a lot to think about in terms of where I want to go and when. I have to say that I wasn’t extremely impressed with the presenters at the fair, but I wanted to learn more about studying abroad so I wasn’t discouraged. I think I’m leaning more towards studying in Scotland or Ireland. I’ve been drawn to those countries but never been able to visit. I think living there would be an amazing experience. In addition, some of the world’s greatest writers originated from the British Isles so being able to study there would give me insight on writing and reading that is beyond my wildest dreams.
The fair was the first step of a deep dive that I have to take before I study abroad and I’m glad that I was able to pick up materials and speak to people about it, rather than just looking on a website.
